You are my Starlight

I’ve seen your hair in sunlight;
I’ve seen your eyes with tears;
I have seen you in your triumph
And have watched you conquer fears;

And you became my starlight,
The one who guides my way,
The companion I find perfect
To be with every day.

For me there is no other
Who can ever mean as much;
I cherish every smile
And delight in every touch.

I hope that we’re forever
And will never need to part,
For you’ve become the reason
For my ever-beating heart.
